The festival is fished for two weeks by 'tip-top' anglers from the UK. Two of our resident members took part in the first week of the festival. Ray Ayre had a first and Jim Schofield had a first and a second. The festival is well organised by Roger Lightbone (one of our overseas members) and Simon Levy is responsible for the sophisticated programme that records all the venues, peg numbers, total weights etc. Steve Duckworth (another of our overseas members) also took part in the competition. We met some very nice people during the week and look forward to taking part at the next festival in May 2010.
